I started blogging again on May 13 after taking over a month off, mostly walking away from my business, and deciding that I was over everything. However, everything changed on May 10, when I was suddenly unemployed after giving my all to my employer.
I was lost and confused trying to figure out what I needed to do to move forward and I knew that this was the Universe telling me that I needed to rebuild what I had stopped. It was time to get serious about my blog, my business, and to once again focus on the pieces that lit me up.
I decided to create a Rebuild Your Blog Challenge in my Facebook group. It wasn’t filled with daily tips but I would go live and share tasks that should be done to help build your blog. Over the past 29 days (so close to 30!!) I have been focusing on rebuilding and growing what was going so well.
So what did the Rebuild Your Blog Challenge consist of? Over the past 29 days, I have given 10 tasks to do to help rebuild or even build your blog. I wanted to show you that it will take effort and intentional actions to move your blog forward but that it was doable.
At the beginning of this challenge which officially started on May 16 in my Facebook group, I had shared my stats with the group. I wanted to show that I was truly rebuilding everything. For my website, it wasn’t even online anymore as I stopped doing anything and took it down. There was no traffic going to my website.
Here were my starting blogging numbers that I shared on May 16…

My numbers were bleak and I had the fire and passion inside to walk everyone through how to build their blog back up. Here are the daily tasks that were part of the Rebuild Your Blog Challenge.
Task One: Create your blog content calendar for the next 30 days
Task Two: Create your social media content calendar to showcase those blogs
Task Three: Create a video on one of your blog posts and share it
Task Four: Send out guest blog post ideas
Task Five: Join an online community that allows you to share your blog posts and social media platforms
Task Six: Open your blog to guest bloggers
Task Seven: Repurpose an old blog post into a new piece of content
Task Eight: Ask family and friends to share your blog post
Task Nine: Do intentional movement to get your mind off of blogging
Task Ten: List five positive traits that you have that will help you move your blog forward
The best thing about this challenge is that it can be replicated every 30 days. If you plan your content out further than that, you can do it that way as well. I only plan my content for 30 days because that is how I like it.
The tasks for this challenge were meant to be simple and practical so that they could easily be added to your already busy schedule. I am all about simplifying the process of blogging and helping get you to where you want to be.
For the past 30 days, I have been publishing consistently twice a week. I have been publishing new content every Wednesday and Saturday. My goal is to add an extra two blog posts a month but that may wait until August when I am back from vacation and settled into my new full-time position.
The point is, you don’t need to create content 3, 4, or even 5 days a week to bring traffic to your website. You need to have a strategy in place that is going to help you drive traffic and get your name out there.
I have been tracking my numbers for the full 30 days but I just want to share with you the numbers that I have today. You don’t really need to see all of the progressions but I am seriously in awe of the way my numbers have changed over the past month. They changed more than I even anticipated.
It is keeping me motivated to build up the consistency again and I am ready to keep moving my blog and my business forward. Let’s face it, motivation is the key to building the consistency that we need to keep blogging.
So I know you are here to see the difference in my numbers. Here are my blogging numbers from June 10…

I am so happy with these results. To get to where I was, I still have a bit to go but I am so excited that in 30 days, I was able to build my blog numbers by this much. By taking the time to write content, share that content, and not give up, my blog is growing and flourishing and I am ready for the second half of 2023!
I am all about building community. Whether that is through blogging, social media, or through in-person events, there is nothing more important than community. I think that the last few years have shown us how important it is to have a support system.
I want to help with that. I want to go back to my roots and focus mainly on blogging. This is where my passion is and honestly, life is too short to not live my passion. I am revamping the services that I offer and I am excited to see what is going to happen with everything that I am working on.
Last week, I announced my newest service, Spark Link. Spark Link is a monthly option to have me share your blog post links to help you begin to grow your audience and get engagement. I know how time-consuming this can be when it comes to blogging and I want to help you build your audience. If you sign up in June, your first 30 days are ONLY $185/CAD instead of $245/CAD.
I also have a deal going that if you join the Splash Into Blogging Incubator, you can get Spark Link for ONLY $92.50/CAD for 30 days (you can renew this deal for another 30 days for the $92.50 price as well). This incubator is filled with 9 different workshops to help you build your blog.
Now is the time to build your blog.
No more excuses.
No more waiting.
No more procrastinating.
I am here to help you build your blog and your dreams! Let’s chat so that I can help!!
